Laser and IPL Treatment

WHAT IS INTENSE PULSE LIGHT (IPL)

The IPL machine generates a broadband of light  in the visible and near infrared range.  Filters are used to  use specific bands of light to target tissues eg pigment and blood vessels.

WHAT IS IPL USED FOR

IPL is particularly useful for reduction in pigmentation ie removing freckles and brown age spots.

It is also useful for removing small capillaries and the background redness seen in rosacea.
